How many of you REALLY celebrate Valentine’s Day? Personally, I’ve never been much into the cheesiness aspect of it: drug store chocolate, red roses and teddies (both stuffed animals AND lingerie–yikes)–not really me. But then again, there were always aspects of this holiday that I loved growing up and still like: handwritten Valentine cards, an opportunity to wear pink and red, unexpected gifts and of course it’s fun to have an excuse to tell people how much you love them. Plus, on Monday, I can buy all the discounted pink and red peanut butter M&Ms and eat them at my desk at work. …that might be the pregnancy talking.
I'm not really sold on that whole Valentinesday thing. I love the idea of it but it always feels kinda forced. Anyways you have some really cute picks here, like that Diptyque candle and the super cute kiss sweater. ๐

I've never been into extravagant gifts but something small and sentimental is sweet. With that being said, I don't really celebrate it, but if my hubby didn't come home with SOMETHING (like a card at the very least), I would probably get mad. haha Great finds!

I'm right there with you. I feel like I had a better time celebrating "singles awareness day" in college than Valentines Day now that I'm in a relationship. Sure, flowers are nice but they are much more appreciated on random occasions.
