Something Old (See Jane Wear)

H&M shirt, thrifted Dior skirt (Goodwill), J Crew belt, Express tights, Enzo Angiolini boots, Elizabeth & James sunglasses, Spike the Punch necklace (c/o), Marc Jacobs bag,  CoverGirl 'spellbound' lipstick
I love peruse secondhand shops and thrift stores, but mostly for household items and decor (my sister recently got china similar to my Kate Spade set for $14).  Nothing beats sifting through racks for hidden treasures; unfortunately, I usually come up short on the clothing end.  I'm probably not the best at treasure hunting because I usually have a set item in mind; more recently, I was determined to get a leather pencil skirt.  Well, I didn't find one, but I did find a cream-colored, wool Christian Dior skirt that fit like a glove...for $5.  Seems like an okay trade-off, no?

I love getting skirts from thrift stores. I don't feel bad about totally deconstructing them and getting them tailoring the hell out of them.

Can't believe you found a Dior skirt at Goodwill never mind off $5!! I think my best deal was a brand new pair of Prada's for .99 cents. From Brooklyn with love ~jen

So cute Jane! Thrift stores rock my world! And I love how you've styled it up here. The grey belt is perfect and that necklace is beyond fab!

My favourite thrifty find recently is a pair of brown woven leather loafers. I actually posted about them today!
