Nude Accents (See Jane Want)

Every spring there are a few trends that stand out.  This year, color blocking is huge, along with all things 70s.  One trend that reappears every spring are nude palettes.  They're fresh, clean, and act as an indicator (to me, at least) that spring is finally around the corner.  It's one trend I don't think I'll ever tire of, so there's no guilt when stocking up on nude pieces.

5. Forever 21 Madeline Hat (hint: it's a cheaper alternative to J Crew's Panama hat.)

Do you embrace the nude?

I an really digging the nude/neutral tones, but I always like to add a bright color to make it more interesting. I think I need that necklace.

I completely agree, I just re-read a post about 'nude' from last year - a classic for sure!!! (Perfect reasoning for getting some more!)

I definitely embrace the nude :) Love these soft colors, but one doesn't rule out the other for me cause I also like brighter colors for spring and I'm also a big fan of the color blocking trend :)

I love all of those choices-- thank goodness you had something from ONavy in there bc the PS1 just isn't in the budget, however much I love it. Sigh ;)

Isn't Old Navy amazing sometimes? The surplus jacket is now on sale, to boot!

I purchase the ruffled collar jacket last year and was amused to find it mentioned in your archived posts!

I feel a bond with those who can find gems in such otherwise "rough" stores! (I mean, Old Navy has never sought to be that refined - a job left to Banana Republic, I guess!)

It's so true that there's less guilt involved when I buy something in a nude/neutral shade because I know I'll wear it for a long time. Especially when it comes to shoes. I've been obsessed with nude shoes for as long as I can remember! Love all your picks, Anna!

I am absolutely in love with nude and blush tones for spring and I swear, I thought that Forever21 hat was the J.Crew Panama Hat. What a fabulous find, doll! And of course I'm partial to the Josie skirt... So pretty and sweet.
