Pump It Up (See Jane Search)

I’m in a bit of a conundrum; I am in need of some new, cute, work pumps.  Dare say that I’d also like them to be on the practical side?  Everyone knows that practicality is generally synonymous with dowdy (or stark white tennis shoes).  I really hate forgoing the beautiful, 4.5 inch heels for some boring 2 1/4 inch-ers but I work in a pretty conservative environment.  Also, I already have a basic, round toe, black, patent leather pump, so I’m looking to think a tad outside the box.

Here is what I’ve come up with thus far:

1.  Cole Haan Carma Air Pump.  With Nike technology, you can’t get much more comfortable than a pair of sneakers themselves. ($298 at zappos.com)
2.  Franco Sarto Value Pump.  “You can do anything, but lay off of my blue suede shoes.”  ($94 at Nordstrom)
3.  Stuart Weitzman Greta.  The peep toe says ‘warm weather,’ but the suede means ‘wearable through Indian Summer.’  ($228 at zappos.com)
4.  Via Spiga Lang Peacock.  A neutral, but fun alternative to basic black pumps.  ($131 at Nordstrom)
5.  J Crew Lilly Peep Toes.  Perfect for dressing up a sleeveless, black work shift.  ($158 at jcrew.com)
6.  AK Anne Klein Wake.  These would look perfect with bare legs and a khaki colored pencil skirt (and also in the fall with gray tights).  ($71 at zappos.com)
7.  Steve Madden Ultra.  …I guess I like suede.  No apologies–I truly feel that it can be warm weather appropriate. ($99 at stevemadden.com)
Would you wear these to the office?
